The City of Decatur received $2.9M in CARES Act funding through an agreement with DeKalb County which, based on population, was eligible for direct federal CARES Act funds. Distribution of these Coronavirus Relief funds have included: expanding the small business assistance program to $900,000 (in addition to community funds of $68,000 raised by DecaturUnited); Pandemic Pay for city employees; expanding assistance program to include a grant program for local non-profits ($300,000); Pandemic expenses (PPE equipment; cleaning supplies; technology needs, etc.). After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
